Can a Smoker Practice Quit Smoking?

It seems a bit of a mystery who no one I have ever talked to or heard speaking about quitting smoking EVER used the terms “practice quit smoking”. If you have heard this, please leave a comment below as I would like to definitely look into it. To my way of thinking, if people are not thinking about practicing quitting smoking, …what ARE they thinking about when they try to quit?

Have YOU Ever Tried to Quit Smoking?

Did you ever try to quit smoking? Did you ever think you could practice quit smoking? the Coach Quit System is all about practicing to quit smoking. I do not think the reason for this lies deep down in their subconscious. I don’t think for most people it has to do with how they were brought up. To me a better reason is they simply do not practice quitting first. Many people rely on cold turkey in a do or die way for instance. Other than that as a way to quit smoking, most people only have medical drugs. Of course there is hypnotherapy as a way to quit smoking, and it too may work for some people. But wouldn’t you need to dig deep to figure out how it actually works? And what would a person do if they started smoking again?

I prefer to practice saying no to cigarettes!

I prefer saying no to cigarettes. The Coach Quit system is based on saying no to cigarettes and lowering the nicotine levels in the blood as a consequence. Practice Quit Smoking First

Can a smoker practice quit smoking? That is, before they do in fact quit smoking cigarettes? I have worked in the smoking cessation business for 20 years and I have NEVER heard of this concept. To practice quitting smoking. Well, I haven’t heard it from anyone else other than from the Coach Quit organization.

It is difficult to Quit Smoking

It is a known fact that smoking is incredibly difficult to quit. However, Let me generically talk about the various ways of quitting and give the Coach Quit point of view on them as it regards the idea of “practicing”. So, let’s take an idea like nicotine replacement therapy or NRT. Is there any practicing to quit smoking available here? From what I gather, it seems that you buy a box of nicotine, then read the label. It tells you there in BOLD letters the following. “Quit smoking BEFORE starting NRT therapy.”

That is all it says. Quit smoking first! Really? Is it really that easy? Just quit smoking? Then of course you are to substitute the nicotine chemical, one company uses a “replacement chemical” that is apparently very similar to nicotine. In this one, ads I have seen suggest that you can smoke for a very little while before completely stopping the cigarette smoking part.

The Drug Companies Leave Quitting to YOU

So it would seem that the drug companies leave the actual quit smoking process to you. Good luck! However, will you get “hooked” on their nicotine, or similar to nicotine product? I guess that is for each person to figure out on his own.

The question I have is why can’t a smoker simply “practice quitting smoking”?

Even rank beginners practice everything else. Imagine a person singing, dancing, playing piano, acting, bowling, doing art or anything else without practicing! It would be insane to expect them to do well without it. EVEN their OWN MOTHER would not expect much without some practicing going on. This is the honest truth. But often he would have to smoke cigarette after cigarette until he could huff and puff no more. at that point, the poor child was greener than a granny’s apple, and ready to let’s say dump a load.

So, I guess you could say the moral to the story is that you just do not need to believe that some things will work for them to work. These are a few examples. If You are Tired of Chasing the Quit Dream

If you are tired of chasing the quit smoking dream, I can understand. I got tired too. In fact, I came to believe that I would never quit smoking as I was one of those very few people that simply could not quit smoking no matter what. It was a hard pill to take at the time. But keep in mind we have few people with knowledge actually helping the average man on the street to quit. Who do we actually have? Big Pharma? Don’t make me laugh.
